As the Director of Education and Career Services for Military Network, Dr. Karina Money will oversee and assist with shared goals that is described as follows:
"Our experienced staff works with the individual in evaluating each person's talents, skills, strengths and weaknesses to understand what interests and motivates each client."
The goal of this division is to assist individuals with technical certifications, graduate school and/or career options.
We base our evaluations on trait and factor theories, developmental theories and learning theories. Trait and factor theories stress the individual's need to develop his/her traits as well as select environments that compliment those traits. Developmental theories share the assumption that factors related to career choice are also related to stages of personal and psychological development. Learning theories refer to the processes by which a person gains self-efficacy and what effect that has on his/her career and decision making process. By incorporating psychological theories in our evaluation we strive to help our client find a training program or career path that is tailored to their strengths, desires and dreams.
Our purpose is to help the client find a career path that will help him/her achieve life long success and happiness.
A complete assessment consists of:
- an interview with the client to discuss his/her goals, desires and needs
- psychological and personality testing to assess the right career path
- a written report based on personality test scores and client desires and a customized plan for graduate programs and/or career options that are tailored for our individual clients.
- a follow-up meeting
- We also offer career coaching on an on going basis.

Consequences for choosing the right area of study / concentration last beyond college. Nationally, three out of four entering students denote some uncertainty about their choice of major and between one and two thirds change majors at some point in their academic career. Students who choose the right major earn higher grades, persist in their choice of major, graduate on time, are more satisfied with their career, have greater job satisfaction and job stability.
The question now becomes, how is a typical student supposed to know what the right major is. As a personality expert, I believe that the answer lies in individual personality traits and major match. Personality typing is the innate way people naturally see the world and make decisions. The basis for personality typing is the belief that there are sixteen distinct personality types and each person has one type that most accurately describes him or her. Personality traits are inherent and people;s type does not change throughout o s lifetime. By knowing their personality traits, students can make informed decisions about their major selection and have greater satisfaction and success with their college experience.
Students who choose a major that is not congruent with their personality tend to: study subjects that are not suitable with their interests or skills, as well as, finding themselves in an environment of students and faculty members who have different, skills, and values. As a result their grades suffer, they have lower graduation rates and are less satisfied with their careers.
If you are a student who is beginning your journey think about who you are and the way you view the world. Seek advice from an educational consultant or a career counselor and examine your personality traits. Choose an area of focus that fits your personality traits and allows you to be successful. Choose an area of study that can lead to a career path where you can be happy and successful. Contact us today and begin your journey to success and achievement
